The Wonderful World of Work

Those of you not interested in PC gaming/my life feel free to skip this post and wait for my inevitable Fable II worship session later this month. To everyone else:

I am soon to take a job in a local PC repair shop (to pay off my loan sharks) and as such need to pull my finger out of my arse and get to the book-learnin'. As a happy result, I will be writing a regular feature, which I am christening Hardware Dope. This will be a series of articles focused around how to turn that solitaire simulator of yours into something a little more hefty, and how to keep your beloved computer from death's door for far longer than is natural or humane. If you find yourself frustrated by poor performance, worrying over the cost of a new computer or simply wondering what to do with that fancy new set of screwdrivers, tune in every so often and learn yourself some knowhow.
